Sad that even some people downplay this victory by saying that the pitch was not good. The pitch was very good, it lasted for 5 days. Cook showed that if you have skill and temparament u can score runs on any wicket.

Need not be overjoyed about the result. The way England played the second innings they will give tough fight in the coming tests and if the pitch assists pace bowling India will be in for trouble. All the same this is a resounding win. Congratulations, Dhoni's men.
After the way First test went, England can no longer drape Indian Flat Beds(heets) to cover up their naked shame, the test proves that if a player plays good can do good.
india has the advantage of turning track and eng sparing few are not good at playing spin the india could do a little when on 4th day there was wicket which was completely flat and did not favour any bowler(spin or fast)... what would have been a result if india batted in condition similar to eng like fast pitch?
The way England played second innings ,shows that they will be aggressive in the second test.Indians are good at home.They prepare only pitches which help spinners and end up loosing abroad while playing in Fast pitches.

What pitch England give. They prepare according to their choice what wrong if india makes spin track.
