if Tamil players are given opportunities
by Tamil Selvan on Nov 16, 2012 11:08 PM  | Hide replies

Our golden boy Balaji can bowl faster than Bret Lee or Shoaib Akhtar.
Our Karthick can be better than what Gilchrist was to Australia.
Give them chances, they will prove it.

Congrats Cheteshwar, welcome on Board the Indian Test playing cricket Team.virat kohli has to be a little more consistent and not be only a limited overs cricketer.Badrinarth has to wait till Tendulkar retires,Raiana is still struggling to find a place in Test Team.Best of Luck India.

why Badrinath has to wait.Remove Pujara, let Badrinath play and he will also score double century. Let Pujara come if at all Sachin retire. All politics in selection.

SELVAN, why you are making fool of yourselves, by making such foolish cooments.
Tamilans are famous for antiindians antics already and you are not helping them by making such comments.
Please go home or stop doing nonsense things.

Mind your words, Pratik, to label Tamilians! What do you mean famous for anti-Indian antics? Stop this regionalism guys! We are Indians first! It's a shame that even after 65 years of Independence and the efforts of the Iron Man of India, the Indian states came together but the thinking is still 17th century thinking.
Almost every forum whether movies or cricket or politics has a smell of regionalism and casteism.

ur tamil selvan is doing no good in supporting ur statment brother, statements like that make you ppl sound in poor light ..badrinath?? 32 years of age hasnt even been a consistent performer for csk and u expect him to be in the indian team ?? and how many chances will vijay get ..remember sadagopan ramesh ?? vijay gives out the same vibe

madhavi, tamil selvan is not representing tamilians, is he? If someone makes a regional comment (note my words at the end are directed to all Indians who are regionalist or casteist, includes Tamil Selvan as well), then we need not abuse his or her region or language. Rather criticize his thinking. Bal Thackeray or Raj Thackeray beat up Biharis or South Indians in Mumbai. Does that make all Marathis as anti-national? Absolutely not. Is BT or RT representing Marathis - absolutely not!

but Badri has been a consistent performer in Ranji, which is more important than playing for CSK. Even Pujara has not been in the limelight in IPL but is definitely a quality test player - you could see when he scored 72 v Aus in 2010 now he has reinforced that.

I am a tamilian too. I feel Badri is good. But I also feel Pujara is better. Just hope his body holds up. He would be able to work wonders. Also he needs to iron out whatever flaws he has against the short ball

Badrinath was given enough opportunities, but the age and lack of big match temperament cost him a permanent place in the Indian Team. When Dravid and VVS both South Indians were at the crease who would want a Badri in the field?

What nonsense!! S.Badrinath has been given enough and more opportunities. Please do not show your miniscule intelligence on a public forum and stop trolling. The best players at the moment play for the national team. Period.I dont care for a second where Pujara, Dhoni,Yuvraj, Tendulkar etc come from when the game starts. They come from India and thats it. Your regional prejudices, parochialism and ethnocentric prejudices is disgusting.
