It has been haunting them no doubt, but Sri Lanka has lost 4 ICC finals too. But thing to look at is sports in US like in Major league baseball, the finals are played in a best of 5 or best of 7 and similarly like the Triangular series in Australia"(where it is best of 3), some knock out state matches can be played in a series, this is not to shield South Africa but to truly judge the strength of a team. With GAry Kirsten at the Helm, I am sure South Africa as enough fire power to remian at the Top.
