BCCI PLOY TO MAKE GLAMOUR SAVY CROWDS KEEP COMING AND WATCH PLAYERS LIKE VIRU WHO ONLY KNOW TO SCORE IN THE SUBCONTINENT BUT PLAY LIKE SCHOOL KIDS ABROAD.
TRUE WHEN THEY SAY TIGERS AT HOME AND RATS WITH TAILS CURLED IN OTHERWISE.
HYPED UP INDIAN TEAM WITH BATSMEN WHO ONLY SCORE IN THE REGION AND TIRED MEDIUM PACE BOWLERS NOT CAPABLE OF TAKING 20 WICKETS SO THEY MAKE DUST BOWLS.

BCCI's @fault
by Indian Guru on Nov 16, 2012 05:21 AM  | Hide replies

India loosing in Australia, England and SA is fault of BCCI and Selection committee.

England had three warmup matches before start of first match and most of these times Indians end up playing Test matches without good no of practice matches abroad forget even practice sessions.

Colder places in India with temps between 2-10 Deg C and entirely green swinging bouncy pitches would be an ideal place for practice for foreign tours.

BCCI never provides bouncy pithces in Ranji and its always slow and low wickets. Atleast alternate Ranji season should be dedicated playing on fast pitches.

Question to BCCI?

How will a player for the likes of Shewag, Gambhir etc.. develop quick reflexes if the domestic circuit does not provide with such wickets to test their skill and endurance?

Does BCCI care s long as the MULLAH keep filling their coffers and so does the players as long as their wallets fatten up. Nice to hear that SEhwag is advising others to be patient. Every one figure after VVS retired, the sky will fall but the youngsters led by kohli seems to be doing well. Our older star player failed again. Maybe in the last match of the series he will score a century to preserve his place in the team.

Do not give these "Naach na aave aangan tedha" explanations. It is a fact that every country prepares a track suitable to home team and i clearly mention here "Home team" here which includes batting and bowling. Indian batsmen are strong playing on slow tracks where as the bowlers do well on spinning tracks so we make slow tracks whereas the non-subcontinental team batsman are used too bouncy tracks to cut and pull and their fast bowlers need fast and bouncy tracks to attack. so pls dont make these biased statements. I think ICC should take steps to make standard pitches and if they dont you have to perform with whatever you have got and show the results....

That's why there are 7 DRAWS at Motera.
Advantage to which "home team"? Clearly not the Indian team which hasn't won any tests here..

And, here I was under the impression that the English were experts at trotting out endless excuses for their poor performance in India!
Did the author actually expect the hosts to prepare a pace & bouncy track for this test?
Besides, what did the pitch have to do with one missed stumping, two dropped catches & countless fielding errors by the visitors?
What did the pitch have to do with defensive field placements (like the one for Viru when he was on the verge of his half-century (four men on the boundary)?
What did the pitch have to do with poor team selection (for all their paranoia about India’s spin-friendly pitches they pick 3 seamers & Samit Patel is preferred over Monty Panesar)?
Please give credit where it is due: This Indian team helped somewhat by home conditions, capitalized on tactical blunders by the English and now deservedly sit in the driver’s seat in the First Test Match. End Of Story!

Well said. The author should have praised the curator and the Indian team for dishing out SPECTACULAR Draws..
Which clearly are needed at the rate of 20 Draws per 15 matches played - to keep the interest in test cricket alive... :)

AgainstPseudos...Seems like you are talking about matches in the last century....

if you are saying out of the last 15 test matches in india 20 were draw i must say that you are sleeping and talking in your sleep...;)

wake up dude i think the stats are quite the opposite ...i think out of the last 20 test played here 15 tests have surely produced results....
