Is there a purpose of creating such dead and lifeless wickets that sees mediocre batsmen score double/triple centuries.Ranji Trophy is being buried into oblivion with these kinds of contests where on such pitches teams score 600-700 runs.BCCI should look at revising its point system in this Tournament.It should award 10 points to the winner,2 points for a draw and 3 points for the first innings lead in a draw.There will be greater emphasis on winning and the various cricket Associations will be forced to prepare more sporting wickets on their home grounds to win.Also the prize monies for the Trophy should go up so that players will strive to do better.Unfortunately in the current situation a lot of flat track bullies appear in the scene but disappear fast when they face hostile bowling on lively tracks!
