Inzi, whom I enjoyed watching during his playing days & respect as an individual (yes, even though I’m Indian), appears to be suggesting that Indo-Pak cricket should happen regularly. Ideally & if one considers just the cricketing world, this is an entirely agreeable proposition. But this world of cricket exists within the larger universe of Indo-Pak relations which is far from perfect. Anyone that thinks that regular Indo-Pak cricket can exist without healthy Indo-Pak relations is either na� or is simply looking for short-term financial gain. So given this, one can draw their own conclusions as to why, we are stuffing in 3 ODIs & 2 T20s in late December in the middle of a full series with England.
BCCI & Pak board wants money. Imran Khan, Inzamamul HaQ and other Pakistan players want to play cricket and make money. Any game involves Pak and India attracts crowds and there by money. But before reviving the series India has not considered the feelings of the Indians and already they forgot the Nov 26th 2008.Common Indian can never forget the whole episode. The Imran Khans, Haqs and other Pakistanis never regretted over the Nov 26th and start giving statements about reviving the cricket. Nobody bothered about scores of People who lost their lives and who were permanently disabled handicapped. Government did not do anything for them we are spending crores of rupees for the Pakistani Killer but scores of people are suffering even today for want of one square meal a day.

Each guy who spoke about that ranging from Gavaskar to Sachin, Yuvraj & Dhoni have expressed their disappointment towards that incident on TV. What else do you need?

some time back Steve Waugh & ponting used to visit some orphanage for long time in AP i guess.... is any incident like that by any indian cricketers done......can u remember... vrishti=rain ?....just saying dosnt make sense.....work is not eual to talking...people shud do what they talk....knowadays everybdy just talking........not doing nything...it may corruption or scams or floods or cyclons affected ares etc.........talking dosnt ends problems......do u agree for this mate ?

i agree Mahesha, but cricketers are also doing their bit of charity. Sachin is supporting rural schools, eye hospitals, etc with his money and raising money for cancer awareness, etc. Dhoni is having his own organization for charity, Dravid did charity with Harsha Bhogle... Ganguly was doing a charity for AIDS awareness. List will go on Sir. The problem is, our media will show more footage of some foreigner rather than our people.......
Inzamam, said he had always given a lot of importance to matches against India.The former captain also felt Indo-Pak matches deserve to be given special status. He can soon join Congress Party at least as a RS Members Shameless Corrupt Congress want Pak support to remain in power and loot India
On the contrary, like Sunil Gavaskar says, put everything on hold with the Pakistanis until they sincerely cooperate with India on 26/11 and take it to a logical conclusion. Country and honor are interlinked.

That is NOT what Sunny said. Sunny stated that he is against India playing Pakistan in December 2012 because the tour is being scheduled between the England series and because it denies the Indian players a chance to rest and recover. It had nothing to do with 26/11, although it can be argued whether India should have ANY (sporting or otherwise) ties with Pakistan pending closure of the 26/11 investigation & the handover of suspects by the Pak Govt.
Instead of conducting these bilateral series ICC should conduct an Asian T20 C'ship.A tournament structure is more interesting than bilateral series and particularly if it is a T20 tournament.Women's T20 Asia cup is just over and why can't the authorities think about men's c'ship
Everyone must be thinking why these Pakistani's who hate India wants cricketing ties with India. Almost all pakistani wants IPL and cricket ties. Start with except BCCI which is ultra rich all boards are bankrupts or on the verge of bankruptcy. Other big nations have all sports. In India it is only cricket so it is a big market for advertisers. With India and Pak cricket broadcasters like ESPN, TenSports, DD Star cricket has to pay as much as 2-5 billions rupees for broadcasting rights. They recover it via sponsors, advertisers, ticket sales but sponsors and advertisers are big revenue. The board sell the rights and so board gets money. India is big money with majority sponsors and advertisers comes from india which wants to cover this big market. Other than that Pak and India they create hype which adds eyeballs and increase in advertising rate. Now greedy Pak board wants huge revenue in their kitty. Rest is all to fool public and friendship Conclusion: Sab se badaa rupaiyaa

why they want only cricketing ties and not kabaddi or hockey.. answer is above money is there in cricket... rest is to fool and play with public emotions
