I think Zaheer should rename himself to "Zaheerkar". Then Gavaskar will not have any problem with him. Because, Gavaskar never had any problem with Agarkar who was never in form or fitness in his entire career and still managed to stay with the team for long long time.

Zaheer should check himself and than decide whether he is fit or not, he is the best judge for himself. He should not do what Selfish Gavaskar did for India.
has gone so fat.I saw him in t20 WC & he could hardly bend & catch a ball let alone to bowl his quota of overs.I think he should loose weight & everything will fall in place.
Rohit Sharma,Manoj Tiwari,Suresh Raina and Badrinath are future of Indian Team.Drop Viru,Sachin and Zahir. Youn spinner Nadim is doin well,he shd be selected.
Mostly u talk sense but at times u do speak real nonsense....as a exprienced cricketer and a critic i understand your logic of saying its better that players play in ranji than sit in dressing room in india team but i dont know how u expect a international team to have only 12 players going in for a test match....what if 2 players are injured during the course of the match?? u want the coach to go and field ..

When you are playing in India why do you need a 16 player team? - Just to warm the benches? Infact I agree with Gavaskar in this regard - it is plain stupid to have a big team just for making everyone happy.

Mr.Krishnan, for substitute fielding you can get someone local from the state's 'A' team. You don't need these players for that. They can play Ranji instead. This is what is done in Austratlia and England during their home season.
This is not a constitution amendment needing 2/3rd majority.Recall Irfan pathan ,Munaff patel ,balaji or some other fast medium bowler .Let Zaheer recover.After all it is a game and not war to compel unfit players to participate.
MR GAVASKAR EASY TO SIT ON THE SIDELINES OR THE COMMENTARY BOX AND TALK , COME ON BOARD AND MAKE THINGS HAPPEN, HOW ABOUT BEING A COACH, CONSULTANT OR ON THE SELECTION PANEL ???

Gavaskar clan has made enough money by starting betting. In fact they are the founder memebers of Betting comp. He cant talk about cricet, everyone knows how selfish he was for his own records India lost matches..check his last 20-40 matches record i.e. batting averages?
