CSK openers put KKR on the bay
2. Raina fired and shown that he can play rather maul Sunil Narine. He went wicketless which made him to loose the purple cap to Morne Morkel. Y Pathan & Lee were not spared
3. KKR lost Gambir cheaply
4. Dhoni missed Bisla of Ashwin and Hilfenaus also though the second one is difficult
5. Bisla never played properly for KKR using his luck started counter attacking and made 89 against his career best 29
6. Jadeja, a good fielder missed the stumps atleast 4 times as run out chances
7. Dhoni missed 2 run outs chances by pushing the ball backwards under his legs
8. Hussey caught Kalis within the fence but fell down and gave wicket & 6 runs
7. Hifi bowled no ball which was basically the wicket of Shakib-ali-husan
8. Final over field settings backfired and manoj tiwary hit 2 fours through large empty field
To sum up KKR won by fluke

I agree you pain of CSK not winning IPL, but because of all the faults they did as mentioned by you above, they deserve 2nd place only and KKR the winner

Rajni trophy
by Utkarsh Kumar on May 31, 2012 10:06 PM

Rajni trophy should banned...
who is ranji anyway.. no one watches..
all players should concentrate on IPL.
infact, there should be no international cricket too. IPL is far more exciting

carefully projected tiwari, balaji, etc in front
by D S on May 31, 2012 03:39 PM  | Hide replies

put gambhir, Bisla, etc ... in the background. surely to show that KKR has something close to bengal that won it, rather than just name. And exploiting the sentiments by all sorts of people.

it is like those identity mess-up sites like true roots that fudge identity of people by connecting their last names to those where they dont belong.

whats wrong in that ?
supporting a club is nothing wrong..
ever seen english football ?
we indians need to stop being negative for once.
IPL is something that is worth enjoyable...stop being negative for no reason at all.
if you don't want to celebrate..fine...let others celebrate

Government celebration for club victory!
by darshan on May 30, 2012 12:37 PM  | Hide replies

Winning the IPL is not the country's pride or state's pride or cities pride, SRK can celebrate because he is the owner of the team , juhi can celebrate because she is the co-owner of the team ( both are not from bengal), and there is no point in making this has the grand celbration with roaming around the streets with trophy,It is not the victory for bengal , it is the victory for srk where his franchise market value get bigger and earns more money, How it would be considered as cities victory with only two boys from kolkata, manoj tiwary and iqbal abdulla played for KKR, ipl victories can be celebrated with in the hotels not in the public. And KKR management need to control there emotions as IPL is to stay here for many years, every year any team will win and it wont be considered as winning gold medal for nation in olympics , it is afterall IPL one team in the 9 team going to win every year,Its natural, In previous edition Rajasthan, Hyderabad and chennai had won IPL , Chennai won IPL Twice and champions trophy once and They were in the final for fourth time in five years and they not made these kind public celebration during there victories, they kept there party within Hotels, It is the party time but not the function to felicitate the players as Cities Heros! There are lot many Heroes in Kolkata who have lost there identities.........

celebration is a part of assuring one self of being alive, reasons can be many. binding victories to boundries is a bigoted idea people indulged in while making nations to size control. idea is to create competition and zeal to make the sport saleable. what do you think should be the celebration like when a father and son play in the back yard and son wins. should the father keep a zombie like face and tell his son that its all in the family and you have not beaten a international team?

MCA Vs SRK
by Just Curious on May 30, 2012 02:56 AM

As per IPL rule, the previous year winning team gets to host the Inaugration, inaugral match, last eliminator and Finals. So in 2013 Kolkotta will be hosting all these...MCA is kind of concerned now that their associates can be ignored.
