It was bad decision indeed but was not illogical. Morkel was wicket less in last match against KKR and given 37 runs in 4 overs. DD management might had felt he should be replaced by any foreigner allrounder- Russel. DD had no batting depth and their batting was exposed in last match against KKR. So..dropping Mrikel was not that bad decision. Had DD won the match with the contribution of Russel than u people would have praising this decision of Sehwag
ipl is like film festival, 2 months u can enjoy a great well scripted thrillers...
inconsistent deccan bowling suddenly shined against rr and rcb just to make chennai enter playoffs?? poor punjab bowled chennai very cheaply to make ipl more excited rcb giants scored 215 against strong delhi bowling but failed to score 132 against weak deccan...WTF!!! yorker specialist malinga who took at-least 2 wicks in all matches in league. but couldnt take a wicket in playoff and conceded 41 runs...unbelievable inconsistent dhoni suddenly rocked in eliminator 1... how?? vijay flopped in all matches in league(even in elim1) but scored century in elim2... (i believe cbi should investigate this vijay) after 6 matches pune were in top, after 16 matches they are in bottom... something wrong here another drama was chandila's hat-trick... carefully watch it again, u will understand how well scripted it was
now anyone can predict the final
-chennai will win -narine will concede more than 36 runs with no wicket -gambhir will score single digit

adding more... Dhoni was flopped in league match in world cup BUT suddenly he blasted 91 run in final to win the CUP. Was this also fixed..?? Maliga took wicket of both sachin & sehwag in world cup final but was ineffective to Gambhir, dhoni & yuvraj in same match..?? So...this means it was fixed..??
Grow up dear...and try to gain some cricketing sense.

I am not comparing IPL with ODI. All I am saying why u r suspecting IPL match for fixing only..?? What make you think that ODI couldn't be fixed..??
Recently.. few Pak players are even punished. Our Indian players also got suspended due to fixing scandal.

purple cap holder morne morkel rested in very very important match... why?? there must be something behind this decision (can anyone guess how much money floated here ?)
I am great fan of Cricket game and admirer of our Indian crickter like Dhoni, Sehwag, Gambhir, Sachin, Dravid, ghambhir, Raina etc who are playing for different teams. I Cheer up for everyone and enjoy the game. So...please do not fight in the name of IPL. Afterall, all our players represents India end of day. IPL tournament is just private tournament meant for enjoyment and entertainment... So Enjoy IPL. DO NOT FIGHT. Next match, I will cheer for DHONI & GAMBHIR. which ever team will win final.....I will be ultimately be winner.

I am ready to take all your viewpoint. But Still I enjoy IPL. I take IPL as entertainment....not as serious sport.
DD couldn't score 80 runs from 10 overs against KKR while 8 wickets in hand but saying 180 was chaseable against CSK.It doesn't make any sense.Actually it was not the absense of Pathan or Morne but the attitude of DD players that cost them the match.
If there was a match which needs to be investigated for fixing it had to be yesterday's. More than cricket it looked a WWE match between Undertaker and Ray Mysterio.The result was a foregone conclusion when the team was selected itself. Morne Morkel, arguably the best bowler of the tournament rested?? Was he having periods???
Believe or not..its not a game..its a game of money, and business. We poor and foolish people just enjoying, we need cheergirls, wine and enjoy IPL where all mateches fixed.. its not IPL its BCI league. dont care about problems in country, rupee rate, inflation, corruption, just close your eyes and enjoy IPL and then sleep. We are careless and poor people. Morne Morkel, the leading wicket taker in IPL, is out in this game, unbelieveable.then sahwagu tells it was mistake.nobody knows..vijay can make some runs...It must be banned..so that cricket will become cricket and not to be a platform for billionaire.

You should have said this before CSK entered play-offs. Then I would have accepted. Now its too late and dont try to play double games you loafer.

dont worry dear...you keep enjoying to support IPL/CSk.go to stadium..watch cheergirls..drink wine/beer//them come back to your house and sleep..thats it..its your world...you dont need to support people like anna/ramdev fighting for corruption.. and more..give your vote to this corrupt govt. in this upcoming election, they will give u 500 notes..and may be pack of drinks..thats your limitation/world.. people like you,are the only reason we are far behind the countries developed...you are a part of corrupted system..
