BCCI is not having spirit of improving game and public interest,it basically has interest in making money, it want to be monopoly in cricket, irrespective any issue it can honour kapil the handsome player i admire after sachin,

he was the real founder of IPL man,modi made IPL from kapil idea,now he is out..kapil ji nt getting his honour thts politics in cricket sad...
That is what money power is. If Kapil, who played the game, fair and square and brought glory to the nation could be treated like dirt, you can only imagine what set of idiots and thugs form the BCCI team! It is like the patient trying to cure the doctor. Shame Shame BCCI
If BCCI enjoys so much commercial success from cricket, it is because of Kapil.
The parched Cricket Boards of 1970's gained momentum after Kapil virtually on his own initiative and enthusiasm brought World Cup to India after which people started gaining more interest and and money flowed in. Naturally as a very grateful organisation, BCCI does not want to insult him offering him just 1.5 crores and has given him the right reward - the love of genuine cricket lovers like me. To summarise the message, I would like to narrate an incident which was telecast in Doordarshan. I think it was 1981 but it was an India West indies series when guys like shivlal yadav, kirmani, kapil, venkat, i think even narasimha rao and vengsarkar played for india in that test. Doordarshan anchor went around the crowd and took their views on cricket. When a young girl of say 20s was asked about cricket she made a telling statement "Cricket is Kapil; Kapil is cricket" and all the people around in the camera view all univerally acknowledged that they also feel the same. Such is the power of this man.....
Its a shame that BCCI has not honoured such a great All rounder Cricketer in India. Single handedly he won the world cup in 1983. Kapil is only responsible for the T20 professional cricket in India. IPL copied from him and penalised him. The money which BCCI is having is not theirs it is public money and they cannot be partial to cricketers. If they have any dignity it is not too late they can still honour KAPIL. He is always great no matter who recognises or not. Shame BCCI
KAPIL DEV is a figment of imagination in the minds of Indian public and international cricketing world.He doesn't exist as far as BCCI is concerned.He is a myth like Superman or Phantom.
What u expect ?? BCCI is a joke, run by all politician WHO NEVER PLAYED CRICKET. y we need politician to run sports ? This country has gone to dawgs. NO FUTURE. We need to kick out srinivas/PAWAR/SHUKLA like people altogether from Cricket. SHAME ON U SRINIVAS. KAPIL SIR U R THE TRUE CHAMPION AND LEGEND EVEN SACHIN/DHONI R WAY BEHIND U.

very true. some gunda (who phones police stations to not to take action against someone) beats Dilip Vengsarkar on sports association election! The reality and tragedy.
