WHY BLAME IPL ??
by wasym ahmed on May 23, 2012 01:26 AM

It is surprising to see that media has targeted IPL for the mistakes of individual players. The players involved in the molestation case and rave party scandal are players of Australian cricket team, Indian cricket team and South African cricket team but the media choose to blame Ipl for their stupidity. One fails to understand how can IPl be at fault for the irresponsible behaviour of some players. What these players do in their personal life is not the concern of IPL. Media is acting under the influence of few politicians who want their share from the profits of the IPL matches.

In IPL new funky guys make so much money without much hard work.
If they follow Sachin, Dravid mostly they will not make any money.

Top of Mind were Sachin & Dravid. We could include Sehwag, Kumble, Srinath, Gambhir in this list....Instead of drawing inspiration from these cricketers young turks look for situation to demonstrate their new found stardom. Good sense prevailed on Virat Kohli to mend his not-so-appropriate demeanours which he picked up post 2008 U-19 WC triumph. Look where he is now. But to me Virat is still susceptible...
