the ktaka players are sadistic and cuning. this so called wall held his place denying youngster chances and when he knew he would be kicked out he acted emotionally and retired to get sympathy. i pity with rajastan for choosing this marun. also i am happy that pune finished last bcos they had losers like utappa and pandey.
now CSK has made it to semis and i hope that they win both the matches and complete hattrick of IPLs. Also the timely return of form by murali vijay and the display from annirudh shoud make them certainties for Indian team in all forms of the game. CSK ROCKS

dravid ganguly and tendulkar were the black spot in indian cricket. they showed there fake aggression and never played like one unit.this was the reason we did not win world cup.

it was dhoni a natural leader who helped india to win world cup.

thought that grandpa would now look after his kids! but he is back in another shape; now he says that he would like to develop youngsters; what nonsense;since he has got a drubbing in the ipl his thoughts of further retirement are surfacing; these cricketers are a greedy lot; worthless; not sports persons by any standards

Rahul Dravid should retire from all forms of cricket
by Manoj Adwani on May 21, 2012 09:29 PM

People like Rahul Dravid, Ganguly and Adam Gilchrist who have retired from international cricket and have a fantastic record in international cricket should stop playing from IPL also and give chance to younger players. As Rahul Dravid has suggested that they should play mentor to younger cricketers and help them to develop their game by virtue of their vast experience. Anil Kumble was made the head of NCA and for the development of young and budding talent he had given a comprehensive plan to BCCI, but BCCI did not revert back to him as his plan envisaged spending money and BCCI is only happy to make money and not spend money. Anil Kumble was not left with no other option but to resign. This is the sorry state in which BCCI runs the game.

He has done his best..
by Lakumikara on May 21, 2012 03:24 PM  | Hide replies

I think he has done his part...he managed the resources quite well most of the times, and he himself scored quite well - ranks 7th in terms of most number of runs (ahead of even youngsters like Rohit Sharma/Rayudu/Kohli ) and of course, ahead of seniors like Tendulkar/Ganguly..!!

for a well established test / one day player to play t20 is not easy..but in rahul's case the transition is without any hiccups..he did his best unlike dada and laxman..may be his best was not good enough. but better than many youngsters..

Rahul is never a good scorer in one-day and T20 format of the cricket. He should concentrate on test cricket where is belongs and develop young cricketers but the sad news is in todays world nobody have time to appreciate 5 day test cricket.I see Rahul will be lost soon with no new acheivements.India is a country of prospects and as all Indians love the masala and chatni they will lose the apetite for Teat cricket..No place for Rahul Dravid in the modern Indian Cricket and infact nobody will follow his footstep.
