Truths that evade Media
by Bharat on May 16, 2012 06:16 PM

Simple truths that no Indian is ready to accept

1.The giver of a bribe is as guilty as the
taker.In this case, the giver is IPL/BCCI and
the sponsors of different Teams

2.If freebies above salary cap are paid for
the sake of money laundering ( to make black
money white), then the Organisors of IPL
(who else, the BCCI & the Sponsors)ARE THE
culprits who are committing ECONOMIC
OFFENCE.In that case,
2a. BCCI is not authorised to conduct
investigations
2b. The real authority will be the
Government of India, WHICH IS ACTING AS
THOUGH IT IS ASLEEP on IPL SCAM.

Dear Friends,

Have you noticed a comment on the above lines
in any single Newspaper or News channel TODAY?

India TV is not trust worthy
by M K on May 16, 2012 04:31 PM

India TV is only with paid news, they go to extremes to popularize their channel, they made a scapegoat of one guy and now generalize on all, if BCCI gives them money there will be a different news tomorrow, after all they are a mouth piece of BJP

Law of nature..

Where there is money there is bound to be evil eyes.

I mean these players are insecure financially. So they tried to take a short cut and poor guys unluckyly got caught in action.

Personally I would penalize the BCCI overpaid executives for not making law strong enough to avoid this kind of situation in first place.

I mean what are these officials at the crickets governing body getting paid for after all???

The speed with which BCCI took action is surprising. Would they have acted with such speed if there were well known names? Everyone knows, including Sachin that Harbhjan was at fault in the monkeygate scandal. What happenned?

Logically Spot fixing in Cricket is possible but not Match fixing
by Incredible India on May 16, 2012 01:49 PM  | Hide replies

Spot fixing in Cricket is possible but to fix a match its very very difficult;
For e.g. even though a bowler is ask to bowl full-toss last ball to make opposition win but still that batsman have to hit the ball properly with proper power to cross the boundary so here comes probability theory;
So basically you can fix a bowler to spot-fix to ball last ball as full-toss and u might have fixed the batsman to hit six but still the match cannot be fixed bcoz it all depends on how that batsman hit it...
And when there is probability why will anyone take risk when billions are involved.

However the match fixing can be to more extent made possible if both team have fixed all their players which is very difficult as chances of news coming out is more.

As you are from Azamgarh, you are eminently qualified to be critical on everything Indian. Interestingly we had fixing from this year and we also have a paki playing IPL from this year (for Punjab)!!
