The story to the media is following the usual pattern. Get 5 people involved at low end and give to the altar of Indian public. Every one will forget 1) Why did the owners pay money more than the contract amount and that too for uncapped players. What is the punishment for the Owners who abetted and did the heavy crime. If they paid so much for uncapped players in an underhand way, how much would they have paid for the Indian Super Stars. The rules on salary and benefits along with penalty should be publicly available and all franchisees should publish their financial information to the public ( much like SEBI rules for Listed companies. These have more reasons than listed companies to publish information to public. They won a lottery from the public money)
its open secret that ipl is a fixing league. it was known to everybody, still everybody was going gaga over such bullshit matches n honoured to b fooled by such crook players.
these 5 who r suspended, r just tip of the iceberg but the main culprits r not seen on the scene. actually, v the fans r responsible for encouraging these culprits by unnecessarily giving importance to these t20 club matches. shame on us!

Open Secret? So do you have evidence? If so, please submit to the investigating agencies.
simply legalize match fixing and capp the limits that can fixed on a player in the same proportion to his value to the franchise -- you have resolved the problem
So if a player wants to fix a catch , an over or a match performance etc etc - let him go ahead and do it and declare - the people will counter bet and marginalize the effect -

Legend who? plays 60 overs for 30 runs? Own son in ICL? now that everyone knows 99% cricket is fixed, you guys cannot accept that fact, bcos u are brought up on that diet. Our DNAs themselves carry corruption and lethargy... and the total unwillingness for change for the good.
