Statisticians say that RR have not lost a single match in IPL while defending a total of 160 or more.
In stark comparison, DC have lost, at least 3 matches to my knowledge, in IPL-5, while defending a total of 190 or so.
Yesterday, like on the previous 2 occasions, DC bowlers did not really know how to stop the KXIP batsmen, more particularly D Hussey. Even Dale Steyn, carrying the reputation of World's No.1 bowler as per ICC ranking, was found wanting. Added to this, the fielding was not even club class.
DC franchise seems to be paying a huge price for discarding players like Suman, R P Singh, Rohit Sharma, P Ojah etc., who had shone in earlier IPL editions.

DC Franchisis saks...There are lots of players from Telangana, Andhra & Rayala seema why not giving chances to them. DC franchisis likes singhs c oks thats why there are so many sings.

so you would want the likes of akshath reddy to replace non-ap dhawan? (only guy to score in excess of 500 for dc, been a largely consistent performer. only useful indian guy in dc, while steyn and white have been other bright sparks in dc) . as far as the other localite is concerned, ravi teja has scored 4 from 2 games.
in the bowl. dept. , ashish reddy and rajan have an eco. rate. of over 9 , while hindpur born sudhindra has an eco. rate of over 11 (take a look at sudhindra and reddy's figure in that loss against dd where they can't even help dc defend 187 and again dc bowlers against kxip last night, barring steyn and christian everyone has an eco. of over 10) or in an earlier game can't defend 197 against rr, when steyn,christian,rajan go over 10 an over (aided by some very ordinary fielding/catching)
sanga has been terrible for dc, totally uninspiring batsmanship and leadership, i liked when c. white was the stand-in captain.
the fielding is a major concern for dc as well, they lost a few games just in the fielding dept (f.ex th e game against rr with dropped sitters of shah and botha or the dropped catch of kp against dd, he went on to score his maiden hundred of this format )
