MI r really unbelievable
by Jomesh George on May 15, 2012 02:33 PM

In my opinion MI is the team to watch in IPL5.They won 5 matches far from behind including yesterday's.Rayudu's batting and Malinga's bowling r exceptional throughout the series.Rohit Sharma even though not very consistent played some great innings.Pollard is another guy who can generate fear on opponents.

Play Offs - 9 more games to go
by abc_xyz abc_xyz on May 15, 2012 11:21 AM  | Hide replies

with 9 more games to go, here are the chances for the teams to enter play-offs.

Delhi - 96.88 %
Mumbai - 89.06 %
Kolkata - 88.48 %
Chennai - 57.03 %
Punjab - 30.66 %
Bangalore - 20.31 %
Rajasthan - 17.58 %
Pune - 0.00 %
Hyderabad - 0.00 %

Assumption: None of the remaining games go for a tie/washout/draw whatsover.

It just can't get better. 63 games have been played and still no qualified team.

If only Kings XI can win all of their remaining games, it will become more interesting.

Yes. If Punjab loose to Delhi today, the latter would quality for the play-offs and the former almost out of the tournament. And then, the 4th spot would be fought between Chennai and Bangalore, with Chennai having a definete edge

Yes, RCB crashed out of IPL and CSK beat KKR.

But never mind, it is only IPL, not as bad as India losing to Australia & England.

Their heroics are confined to Victories in India and some wins in IPL.

RCB's Chances are Dull for Play Offs
by RSS on May 15, 2012 11:03 AM

Even if RCB manage to beat Delhi Daredevils (which is tough in its own backyard) and also Deccan Chargers on their Home soil, then also their Chances are Dull to Qualify for the Play Offs as CSK have a Better Net Run Rate.

RCB HAS NO GRIT
by SRIDHAR RAGHUNATHARAO on May 15, 2012 09:48 AM  | Hide replies

RCB team, as I have pointed out several times is very poor in fielding and it's bowlers concede lot of runs, especially Zaheer and Vinay. With such a beautiful score at 58 for 5 wickets, they could not ascertain a simple win. Earlier also, when they scored 205 against CSK they could not defend. With such bowling stalwarts like Kumble and Prasad as guides for RCB, I fail to understand as to how RCB is repeatedly failing in bowling front.
About SRT's performance for MI, less said is better.

thats cricket & that too T20.........for that matter even RCB had lost 4 of their best wickets cheaply but still made 171 runs....do u play cricket, if no, than just watch & enjoy & dont pass judgements on greats like SRT, Kumble, etc .....put ur legs in their shoes & then speak........
