MI Need Aggression in Batting
by rohit arun dharap on May 12, 2012 11:24 AM

We have seen MI Batting. They are happy to get to 140-150 while batting first. While Chasing 130 it takes last over to finish match. I think MI need aggression in Batting at the top like Gayle-Dilshan,Veeru-Warner,Gambhir-McCullum etc. Tendulkar-Franklin's approach is somewhat classical i.e. to keep wickets in hand till last 8 overs. But it aggravate the problem more. MI Desparately need Gibbs at the top. Gibbs-Tendulkar pair will do good for the team. Team Batting line should be Gibbs, Tendulkar, Smith, Rohit, Karthik, Rayudu, Pollard, Harbhajan, Malinga, RP Singh, Ojha.

Kumara Sangakkara, Sourav Ganguly and Daniel Vettori have introspected and retreated gracefully from the team. All other non performers in every team should realise their position and take a leaf such that their teams winning chance will become brighter.

MI team no good this time. It is full of stars, but not many are shining..... Franklin seems to be their biggest problem. Karthik & Rohit Sharma looked good once in a while.....

I expect it to be a cakewalk if they can finish off Sachin & Pollard soon. But for sure, Rohit Sharma can be match winner whom KKR should be wary of....

Gambhir not backing the team
by subrat sahoo on May 12, 2012 02:31 AM  | Hide replies

I dont think Gambhir has been backing the team. He was highly critical of his teammates, when the team was losing continuously and that showed his arrogancy at its height. I wish the team all the failure, with arrogants like SRK and Gambhir but wish Yusuf to come back in form with some fireworks..

This truly reflects the authenticity of the tournament:

"Thanks to the scheduling, the teams are facing each other for the first time this season despite the tournament heading to its business-end."
