ganguly has no 100 centuries... they must have honoured him for his contribution as a bangal player and great captain... Sachin is the pride for all indians. So anybody can faliciate him.

How come the team ganguli get asscociated with in IPL becomes one of the worst teams , and the team he leaves becomes one of the best teams ?

The cash trapped Government offering Olds to someone who is arguably the richest sportsman in Asia!!! So what is the real and desparate need here unless SRt is bing used as a ploy to counter Ganguly (sure SRt would not fall for this kind of crap) The current government led by the maniac is anything anti-Ganguly to the extent they would do anything toi undemine the legacy of Dada. They would ensure that Dada would not be invited to this. They ensured that the moron Shastry would be asked to do the Cricket Acedemy. They would ask another no-gooder like SSK to be their brand ambassador ... All just to irritate Dada. Truth is Dada has a very deep rooted spot pan India - so no matter what that spot would not be traded.

Dada is a good leader if he would have wished he would have done a lot however he has zero contribution to the cricket of bengal; he should have stood upfront and contributed in creating his clone to bring up more Ganguly in future but instead of that he made sure that nobody comes close to his throne and only he should enjoy the princely throne. By saying this I am still a fan of his game but certainly not of his attitude.
