Rahul Dravid is better for such events....
by B M on May 03, 2012 08:30 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin Tendulkar is not much of an intellect. He is not a such an inspiring speaker as Rahul Dravid is who is a better candidate for such meet the people sessions.

I agree. But he does not have such a fanatic following as Sachin.

The media seems to be in a hurry to hold such programmes. This could have been done after he retires.

:-).. They will do that too of course. But Wisden can decide whenever they want to hold these events.

AP, I did not "decide" when to hold it. Just felt that shooting for 6 episodes over 3 years is something which can be done when one is leading a retired life..... Comment is on media and not to hurt your boss :)

You can still respect him as a cricketer, but to call him G0D would be an insult to the almighty....
