He was always there, shadowed by biggies
by Milind Bankar on Mar 28, 2012 08:20 PM

At many occassions he has performed tremendously but his performance was shadowed by others. Underdog as he is, his feats were not highlighted properly. A proud salute a humble person.

Sachin a Real Selfish Human ?
by km vb on Mar 28, 2012 06:47 PM  | Hide replies

Except Sachin all team members attended at a function arranged by BCCI to felicitate Rahul Dravid.
All can imagine how Sachin is a real selfish human who thinks himself as a great with his individual record achievement.
He is like a head clerk who does maintain all records and gets seniority by keeping with all record books.
One should remember that he was not a captain in leading the team for victories for INDIA.He an ordinary player who got a chance to play for so long and achieved his individual records. He waiting till a able captain to bring victory for INDIA in ODI and he become a part of the team to hold the Cup.

Always plays for records..Thats why it took so long for him to take 99 to 100.And the way he played in late nineties in most matches of his career proves that he plays for records. But Mr. Consistency is the real legend. We will miss him like anything.

His batting record only ruined India's chances in getting into finals.Bengalis have played very clever way as run rate will come down when the maestro reaches the mile stone.Certainly it helped the Bengalis.

Yeah...and just ignore the fact that we cudnt defend 290 against Bangladesh..does that mean nothing to you?? You wanted to score 500 runs to defeat Bangladesh?

No one is saying that we have the best bowling in the world. But it's kind of funny when people compare Sachin to Bradman when he scored a century versus Bangladesh leading to India's loss

Rahul is a very great player in cricket. He has done all possible things to Indian Cricket. He is most self respect person and I admire him forever. The speech he given in the event and the one in Australia is highlight of his charector. I am paying rich tributes to his cricketing career and it is very difficult to replace him in cricket and human being.
