rahul the great
by aryan on Mar 29, 2012 09:40 AM

I have seen some people comparing rahul to ponting and other guys, but one thing they should realise rahul is a true gentleman apart from cricketer, when he was dropped from indian side the whole karnataka stood behind him, mind you he is not a film celebrity r politician still people stood for him...any tamilian r others done it before apart from backing film stars.. shame on we tamilians...

by venky on Mar 28, 2012 11:09 PM  | Hide replies

he must have step down after the world cup...but he dint coz he wants to complete his 100th century, now if he immediately retires then people will say he is selfish retire exactly after 100th 100, slowly his game plan is to retire in another year or so..so that there is no doubt..thing is he thinks people are very innocent and don't know his game plans

@Venky at least give some respect to Rahul.. Even in his article and his retirement you are only talking about Sachin.. No one needs your view on Sachin as it is same like trying to spit on Sun, will fall on you man... Sachin will play 2015 WC and will be 1st or 2nd highest run getter, digest it and you will be in peace with your disturbed mind .. :-)

Venky:

True. They must ALWAYS be considering dropping all players who don't perform.

Lessons

Sachin played for records and money. Dravid played for country and pride.
Sachin is genius..Rahul's is perspired achievement.
The lesson for common man is more from Dravid. Work hard, be patient, learn, strive for perfection. Instead worshiping (real or fake) heros, try to be hero in your own domain.
