Rahul is the world best batsman that i have ever seen in No.-3 position. His attitude is very gentle towards the Cricket. I think no any cricket player in the world of any country have any prob with Dravid when he was on the field. He always shows that the cricket is the game of gentle man. I love and enjoy too much when saw the game of Cricket of my favorite Rahul Dravid. Dravid you are the great in every scene in Indian Cricket.

He had good temperament & scored runs all over the world. It is however a bit far fetched to call him the best over Ponting & Richards who were superior stroke players & entertainers while Rahul was mostly a drab for paying public
I consider these two as gems of Indian cricket team who always played for the Country and tried their best to get victory to India. They played for the team and never thought of any personal landmarks. Don't worry Dravid if a couple of jealous and selfish people absent from your felicitation ceremony, the whole Country is with you and salute you on this occasion. We have only one cricketer left now who struggles for its team's victory, he is Very Very Special LAXMAN

he certainly was a great team man who always put team ahead of himself.Kumble has however gone over bowled in calling him best no-3 in world. He was quite a boring batsman with limited strokes & certainly not in league of Sir Viv Richards & Ponting who remains most prolific scorers on all surfaces with great strike rate in test cricket

Dravid was more boring than Ravi Shastri in his early days.....Ganguly have retained him in ODI by utilizing him for wicket keeping...

Sachin could have done a video message like BCCI president; Sachin has time to attend the party organized by Ambani :-)
Dravid was a great player and wuill remain always a great. Unfortunately, he was in the team when the world's best batsmen (Sachin)was at his peak.Dravid's class was overshawdowed by Sachin's fame. That is how life is ...
a gritty cricketer who worked hard and played for the team. Made us believe that we can win abroad. Adapted well to ODIs, wicketkeeping and opening. Had amazing fitness - hardly missed matches because of injury or illness (only 3 tests in 16 years).
