Noboy gets trapped and once in the International Arena you are well aware of rules and regulations. He could have easily discussed matter with the other players who were not involved if his intentions were true. Moreover is he ready to pay back all the money that he received and reveal the real truth instead of blaming that he was trapped into. Then we will know his sincerity. His prison term was reduced primarily because of age as per the laws of the land but in cricket anybody infringing the laws of cricket irrespective of age has no escape. This would a great lesson to young cricketers who would be cautious before venturing into such practices. Hence the plea by Ashraf to reduce the sentence should not be taken seriously by ICC.
"...and explain to other cricketers to not get trapped like he was." so pcb vl ask aamir to educate other cktrs not to get trapped even after doing illegal activity.
