Azaruddin in Cricket board, Are u joking Mr Rao. By comparing azhar with gangualy & kumble u hv insulted these cricketers. azhar is a black-spot on Indian cricket.

Honouring Rahul Dravid by BCCI, in Mumbai.
by Geetha prasad on Mar 21, 2012 01:47 PM

It is nice to known the BCCI is honouring the legend and dignified cricketer Rahul Dravid on 27th instant., and i am sure he will not keep quiet and will serve the cricket in any capacity with a class of his own and with his heart and soul. He is loved in not only in Bangalore but throughout India and World. The Karnataka Cricket Association also should honour him after all he deserves more than it.
We would like to see him in a very responsible
position and BCCI should give him an opportunity.

Why not Bangalore?
by B M on Mar 21, 2012 01:36 PM  | Hide replies

True that Dravid is loved all over India. However, it would be have been appropriate to have the felicitation ceremony held in Dravid's home town Bangalore!

No need for hotel! Hold the ceremony at the stadium. Let the crowd come in and give Dravid a standing ovation for one last time!

I am happy that BCCI is felicitating Rahul. He is a role model. I wish they produce a documentary on him emphasising not just on his statistics and techniques but also on the way he handled himself; a matured person with lot of sanity and originality. I wish BCCI engages him usefully.

You are right. Dravid is very intelligent and an extremely good statesman. He has conducted himself with utmost dignity throughout his career, never got into on and off the field controversies.
