Sachin's rigth to decide his retirement!!
by Anil Kulkarni on Mar 19, 2012 11:02 AM

Yes, he has right to decide, but similar to a voluntry retirment of an employee. However if he does not cleverly understand when to retire, there has to be a superannuation.

100 score fixed
by Ram kumar on Mar 19, 2012 11:00 AM  | Hide replies

Every one will be surprised very soon, to find that Sachin 100th 100 was fixed. Sachin was nearing his downfall & some top cricket member(s)had pursued Bangladesh to be soft to help sachin score his 100th 100.

No dispute!
by mohan ramakrishnan on Mar 19, 2012 10:58 AM

Yes, he has the right to decide. Sachin is clever enough to know when to do it. Let's not push him by some means or other. No dispute.

Sachin

Sachin has served India more than 22 years in cricket. He has played plenty of good cricket and won many cup for India. Still he is good. This is the time for him to retire as he is in good form. His services can be taken by Board by appointing his as coach for batting. His 100th century was not at all his class game. He has scored a century is o.k. but it was not a century of original sachin.

You see that the Americans take on the role of World opinion builders and succeed.
Think India with its pride in the long past traditons, beliiefs, superstiotions, backwardness, corruptin, shameless behavior easily ruffled emotions(geeta ban In Russia)
Even Nepal,Srilanka and Bagladesh don care for India. No question about Pak and Chuan what they do.

"Selectors" OR "Sports Monistry" should decid
by Rakesh nair on Mar 19, 2012 10:53 AM  | Hide replies

Most "Ridiculous" & "Astonishing" Statement coming from "Times"!!
"Cricket" is a "Team sport" & "Sachin" is only a "Member" of the "Side".
"Sachin" Quietly Accumulaed "Centuries" all these years & "Individually" got "Benefited" in a "Team Sport"!!
"Individual Records" are only good for "Magazines"/"Opportunistic Corporate media"/"Sponsors" not for "India".
I as a "Citizen" of this "Country" would like "India" winning rather happy with "Sachins Records"!!
"Selection" should be based on "Fitness & Performance" but "Sachins" fitness is so poor that he can only "Bat" & the way it is gng he is not bothered abt "Fitness".
"Srikant" (Weak man) is waiting for these kind of "Statements" so that he will be "Free" from "Arriving" at a "Decision".
"Sachin" should be made "Accountable" to the "Losses" against "Eng" & "Aus"...Same goes to other "Non Performing" Players...
"Team Sport" is always "Bigger" than any "Individual".

"India" can "Confer" "Bharat ratna" on "Sachin" for his "Achievements" but how can a "Team" Continue to "Loose" If that Individual ("Sachin")has "Consistently" performed badly or has bad "Fitness" becoz it affects the "Morale" of the "Team".......
"Sachins" only issue is his poor "Fitness" which "Dhoni" disclosed "Recently"(Slow Movers on the Field)....
