Given the talent and their mercurial nature, their unpredictabiliy, the Pakistanis are always overrated.Main problem with them always is that although brilliant individually they rarely gel as a team.Even yesterday, they should have made not less than 360--370 given the type of start their openers gave and that flat track.S Afridi was totally off-colour with the ball which made all the difference. In the WC semis at Mohali on the other hand Misbah wouldn't accelerate ! That is why the chances of Pak becoming a great consistent side as in the past of Imran-J Miandad-W Akram-waqar...and earlier times looks remote because even if their past legends had differences they would give their best and gel as a team which is not happening now.
Viral Kohli was literally on fire, as Ravi Shastry mentioned. For one so young, to come up with such a massive match winning effort, that too against a formidable foe, was something all cricket lovers would indeed cherish for long. But, the see-saw form of Team India in Cricket is something really bothering. It's not unusual for the team to play scrappily in major tournaments and then make all supporters wait breathlessly on whether they will make it to the final - which will depend on who beats whom or who loses to whom and all such calculations. Asian Championship is going the same way. It's great to have Sachins, and Virats, but how about all the guys together putting up a stamp on the team as great players - as one unit - with rare failures - something like the Aussies were? If Virendra Shewag had ridiculed Bangla Desh in the past as they are no great team, it's sad to see the Bangla Deshis beat India yet again in a well contested match, to rub it again after the knockout blow in the World Cup arena not too long back! Team effort is important, one should lnot lose sight of that, but yes, Hats Off to Kohli. Keep it up, young star! Shankar.
It is one of the greatest innings. He has a special talent and needs to be consistent. However he has to learn to be modest like Sachin. Why should you get angry after scoring a wonderful Century, punching the fist in the air and looking at the dressing room angrily. This is not good. The whole world is watching specially the kids. Be modest, you will get respect or else the no body will care.

True! That was an ugly and needless display at a moment of absolute glory! A smug smile to display a sense of big achievement would have endeared him to perhaps even many more thousands! No? Probably he will learn to that the next time around!
