What nonsense....his most centuries are in South Asia pitches, how you can say he is best batsman? I dont agree at all. Our indian players are tigers on India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka pitches. They make century and roar like Lion but the same thing they cant maintain on pitches of Australia, England and South Africa. So pls give us a break
SRT plays for self , Kohli yet again proved that he gave more than 100 % to the team.
in ODIs he willingly choses to open & refuses to come down the order. Why ?
This affords him the opportunity to play maximum overs to score.
In Test he refuses to open. Why ?
Coz . bowlers are at their cunnung best, try to extract the best from the track & don't focus on curtailment but trying to get the batsman out with no field restrictions. By the time he comes at no.4 , bowlers are either tired or pace of the wickets has been gauged . This enables him to play w o pressure & score runs.
Contrast this with only one recent example.
W C final , Gambhir on 97 , india still not out of woods. Gambhir still goes for the shot & gets bowled. We can imagine what would have happened , if SRT was at the other end( which thankfully he was not ). Probably We would not have felt ashamed if Bangla beat us.
W C holders were beaten by Bangla. Reason - the most selfish cricketer in the world.
After Hobart one more 'Virat' aided clinical win for India, easily the biggest one day win.A post hundredth hundred relieved Sachin made very useful contribution of a soild start which laid the foundations for the win.Best part was Rohit Sharma, poor fellow who was denied adequate opportunity in Aus also came to the party with a bang. Virtually the Indian cricket future show was at display.Even Indian bowling which on the face of it looked 'weak' deserves credit for having pulled back the Pak innings towards the end which at one time looked to be heading for over 350.So, even Indian bowlers did a decent job on the wicket especially A Dinda, P kumar and R Ashwin. The cause for worry is Irfan Pathan who inspite of getting 'swing' is unable to bowl in the 'right areas! It is really baffling why he can't bowl a disciplined wicket to wicket line and length instead spraying all over!Given this background why not support R Ashwin from the other end by playing R Shrma, the leggie instead ?
I see many people start comparing Virat with Sachin .I think there is generation gap between them .Virat is a nexgen dynamite , his attitude and body language each and every minute on the field is exemplary of the fact thet here is a guy who plays every game as he is there to give his very very best..look at how he fields ..sachin never fielded with the intensity that this guy does..the guy scored match winning 90 the day after his father's death..this is a special talent...he is somebody with an inherent self belief and confidence and did u see his eyes when he is the groove..he plays there with only one motive that is to be a world beater..just a killer attitude...forget abt his MC sand BCs ..those will evaporate with time .. did u see how he celebrated with indian fans with the stumps and dhoni was just walking away...he has tremendous passion for the game...and listen to his interviews he always says things that he didnt do in the last innings...he said i wasnt getting big hundreds..i got out in the 42nd over etc etc...very positive and constructive mentality with worl beating attitude..go KOHLI go

Well Done India, well done Virat. It was an exceptional performance, to bat the way virat did under lights and chansing 300 plus. Not even a single stroke looked edgy. Brilliant, awesome
Our useless bowlers are the big worry now…we are having a c grade attack now. Pravin, dinda, vinay,Irfan…to just name a few. We know what happened in WC..only and only because of our batsmen we won the cup. Even many of our guys 100’s are going in vein because of these nuts! Our Sachin’s 100 is just an example…and some fk…s utter some rubbish comments for that. Selectors…its high time to think about.

Diagree. Zaheer Khan, Harbhajjan and Munaf were also instrumental in winning the World Cup, particularly Zaheer Khan.
