Virat and Rohit the Future ( The Writing on the Walls )
by NITIN RAJ on Mar 19, 2012 06:53 AM  | Hide replies

I am very happy that Virat has been consistent, very soon the same consistency we can see in Rohit Sharma bec nurturing a talent takes time and needs talent. Till yesterday, i was thinking that Dhoni was against Rohit Sharma, but promoting RS ahead of Raina proved the Dhoni wanted to put him under pressure and perform. Full marks to dhoni for promoting RS and Well Done RS. When SRT got out, the situation was very tricky. RS was very nervous in the beginning but due to splendid Virat strokeplay, RS got time to settle in. I m very happy for Indian cricket, the future lies in hands of Virat, Rohit, Raina, yuvraj in the middle order. Regarding bowling, one must have to admit that the bowlers did pretty good job in the end restricting them to 330. At one stage pak were 250 at the end of 40 overs. Our bowlers gave away only 80 runs in the last 10. Anyways lets support Team India because its a transforming phase so we need to give time to youngsters. During Srilankan tour , i would like to see Virat, Rohit , Manoj tiwari also play in ODI Team alongwith some new faces in top order such as Manoj Pandey, Robin Utthapa, Rahane, resting Sehwag and Gambhir. It will give a new life to Indian cricket.

These batsmen can hit centuries on trot in dead asian pitches but they are like rabbits before gun in Aus,SA,WI,England pitches.
Why there is no TN players in your choice who is better players of fast bowling than the above ?
ie Badri,Vijay,D.Kathik & A.Mukund

Dunno about others in "the above", but Virat Kohli has certainly shown class both on Asian pitches as well as Australian pitches against good fast bowling..

This is what matters

I do not care if India loses everywhere where it does not matter. It is only important to win on big occasions and this Saurav Ganguly nurtured team has proven once again that they are the best on important occasions.

Except Dhoni and Tendulkar, no one played under Saurav. I am not critizising Saurav here. But we should not give unnecessary credit any one else. It is current team effort. They are having will to chase down huge targets. No other era Indian Team did this consistently.

He is an Indian and he is playing for India. Lets stop regional diversity and try to think they are playing for our united nation.

why so many pakistanis are hooked to discussion forum on rediff, dont they have some sort of shout box or interactive forums specially designed for them , where miandad is better than sachin , or inzamam is better runner than jonty rhodes etc. they just swarm indian forums posting by fake ids , dont they have the guts to post their opinions using real names rather than alibi.

Well said. BTW, nothing special about India. Pak lost the match the moment their Pavati openers scored slow centuries.

One day matches are not real cricket. Test matches are real cricket and those who win test matches in England and Australia are the real tigers.
