Bangladesh was 100 percent comitted
by Crick fan on Mar 18, 2012 08:05 AM  | Hide replies

Those people slandering Sachin please know that you guys are the once calling a spade a spade. During the last inning when in 80's he slowed down to an extent that he was not worried about the team score and was more on his own personal score. For sure the 100th 100 is blot on his achivement when you score a century and your team looses to a lowly rated team.
This match offered what the team aspired for. Sachin wanted to get to his landmark and he got it, Bangladesh wanted to fiercely win and they won. India had little chance to win when they failed to boowl well, but cant help a feeling that our batsman could have easily got to a score of 320- 325 if not hindered by this epic hundered form Sachin, there by giving more cushion to our bowlers.

1. Remember that this "low rated team" has ruined our WC chances in 2007?
2. If he had not played "defensively" as u guys claim, we would not even reach 250.
3. What cushion are you speaking about? Pak defended 262 vs Bangla on the same pitch, they bundled out Srilanka for 188 on the same pitch. So, what u say is simply rubbish.
4. With our bowling attack, even 325 is winnable against any opposition.
5. Do u now understand why Yuvraj was important? He was an all rounder unlike Ravindra Jadeja. Most of the matches that India won during the WC have a good contribution from Yuvraj with either bat or ball.

our strength is in batting while paks strength is in bowling, recently viral chased 336,pan did not win easily against bangladesh, that clearly they can chase,we should have given 330 as target but other batsmen would have done if one player eat away 147 deliveries for 114.

With such a bowling attack, even 350 is not enough.

This is message number 100 for Sachin.

Just ignore the critics and carry on.I have seen how so called young generation bowlers and batsman performed against Bangladesh. You being the oldest players saved the prestige of the team.

Or else ,India would have been all out below 200.Shame on new generation bowlers who could not even defend 289 runs...

The match was fixed one. Because of slow batting rate Bangladesh won the match. What new players could done when Sachin threat them for play first. If new players played first then India will definitely win the match. Sachin got his 100 century with the tacit understanding with Bangla Team.

"Dark Days" ahead of "Indian Cricket"

"Sachin" has changed the "Definition" of "Selfish" to "Benefit" Self.....God Knows What Else he will "Change" for his "Records".
Everybody is "Helpless" in front of "Sachin".
"Srikant"(Weak man) is a "Fan" of "Sachin" & will destroy "Indian Cricket" in Coming days.
"Indian Government" is to take a slight "Blame" for this as "Sachin" deserved "Bharat ratna" almost 3 yrs back..
But by Denying him "Bharat Ratna" ,"Sachin is becoming more & more "Selfish" & "Team India" has to face the "Music".
I believe this is the First "Instance" where everybody including "Corporate BCCI","Selection Commitee"& "Opportunistic Corporate Media" are "Helpless".
"Sachin" has "Served" the "Nation" now he has to "Leave" but "Records" in "Team Sport"....
"People" will loose "Interest" in the cmg days becoz smething which is gng on.... is "Against" the "Spirit" of "Team Sport".

AS A SPORTS MAN IS CONCERNED IT IS THE COUNTRY WHICH COMES FIRST AND NOT THE RECORDS IF SACHIN WAS NOT WAITING FOR HIS CENTURY HE WOULD HAVE PLAYED DIFFERNTLY AND SCORED FASTER EVEN IF WAS OUT THE OTHERS WOULD HAVE HAD A BETTER SCORING RATE I FEEL ASHAMED OF LOSING TO BANGLADESH AND THE AUSTRLIAN AND ENGLISH PLAYER HADPREDICTED THAT SACHIN CAN ONLY MAKE HIS CENTURY AGAINST BANGLA DESH I STRONGLY BELIEVE IT WILL BE BETTER FOR THE COUNTRY IF HE RETIRES AND GIVE CHANCE TO YOUNGER PLAYERS

No body doubts your commitment and effort, cause without them you would not have achieved greatness. As you said there are some questions about your "ability" to deliver during pressure situations, that needs to be answered, but it can be some other time. For now, you can rest on the glory and be happy and good. Congratulatons!

this is the difference between Tendulkar and Dravid. while Tendulkar gave 100 out of 100 on commitment, for the same thing Dravid would have said I tried to give 100%

What people would say if..
1. Sachin retires now - selfish guy, he was only dragging his game for the 100th 100.
2. Sachin doesn't retire - selfish guy, he still wants more money and milestones.
3. Sachin wouldn't have scored a century against Bangladesh - he can't even score against minnows, what a loser
4. Sachin scores a century against BAN - see, he can only score centuries only against weaker teams.
5. Sachin scores a century - now India will lose
6. Sachin scores a century and India wins - no comments

We are the same people who were chanting for a 100th century a year back, it is we who asked for it, we who put him under tremendous pressure to get one.

Whatever Sachin does or doesn't do, we are armed with something or the other to say to him. Get a life guys. Talking about selfishness, you post comments here as if you are saints!

"Commitment" to "Self"
by Rakesh nair on Mar 18, 2012 03:30 AM

"Sachin" has given 100% "Committment" to "Self" than "Nation/TeamIndia" in the last "10 Years" of his "Career"!!!!.
Except "Opportunistic Corportee Media" & "Money making "Companies/Individuals" will "Hail" Sachins Feat.
If it would have been an "Individual" sport like "Golf"/Tennis ....then what a Remarakable feat in "Sporting" History but.....
Cricket is a "Team Sport" & all these "Records" matter to "Sponsors"/"Companies"/"Opportunistic Corporate Media" Etc.... at the cost of "Team".
