SACHIN LOOKS AT RECORD ONLY
by anees lokhande on Mar 17, 2012 02:58 AM  | Hide replies

Now Tendulkar has achieved the milestone, he should retire gracefully and pave the way for the youngsters, he should not dwell on too much greed. He should follow the path of Australian cricketers, they play for the country and not for the records. Once Vivian Richards was on 293, he declared the innings and did not go for 300 runs. That is why he is considered the world's most fabulous cricketer. Sachin must learn some positive aspects from these cricketers. BCCI must be bold enough for taking the decision in line with retening and dismissing any cricketer of any caliber, otherwise India can not build up the future team.

India is a democratic country. So, even guys who cannot score even 10 runs in a street-cricket can comment about Sachin.

What have YOU done for the nation who criticize Sachin?
How famous YOU are?
The record sachin makes goes to an INDIAN and then to Sachin.
YOU worry about India? Please go and serve the Indian Army in Siachen...if YOU are worried about India.

You seem to have no clue about anything in particular. In a democratic country, everyone has a right to give an opinion howsoever differnt it might be from yours. The public figures must be under public scrutiny irrespective of whether public in indian army.
Get over it: people will and rightly so comment without joining the army.
Did you mean to say: only indian army men have the right to scrutinize and comment on cricketers? How dumb can you be!

DHONI IS CLEVER
by srterhdfhsdfgsf erretgfgd on Mar 17, 2012 12:10 AM

Awesome Mr. Dhoni as you are earning 50 crores from advertisments annually and Sachin 45 crores...dhoni wants sachin to retire as soon as possible because sachin is the real competitor of dhoni as fas as advertisements are concerned...dhoni is building a team where all his loyal csk players play under him....i mean Bangladesh chased 290 runs??? 16 runs were required in the last two overs and praveen kumar gives a full toss no ball??? we all know how dhoni tried his best to prevent sachin from making his double hundred in the ODI where he was not giving any strike to sachin. well mr dhoni keep up with your tricks but remember one day even you will be replaced by a younger cricketer as captain...

Seriously?
by Jay Varma on Mar 16, 2012 10:42 PM  | Hide replies

What the heck is the matter with you people? The man plays for his country for 20 years and breaks every batting record known to cricket and is the pride of Indian cricket. What is wrong if after all these years he wants to set a personal record of his own? How easy is it to score 15000 runs against every cricket playing nation and a 100 centuries? How many people have done that before him? You dumbasses dont deserve a player like him. Dont worry, he will retire...not because you all say he should but because he is ready to do so.....ingrates!!!

@jay verma...so what /.....just because he played for 20 years you want him to play for another 30 years/....as mark of gratefulness, we "ingrates" should allow him to play in 2027 WC even if he is 50 years by then...is that what you want?....losing does not matter to you i guess......only record chasing traitors who have to be accommoodated far beyond their expiry date....and it is because of your kind of thinking. jay verma, that india is still an underdeveloped nation of idol worshipping emotional fools

the guy scores a 100 runs in the game and you blame him for the loss. wow. @rajkamal...I did not say that he should play for another 30 years. All I'm saying is that an Indian just set a record that noone has ever before. Be proud of that and quit belittling it. Losing hurts me just as much but I tend to find the real culprits instead of one that helped the game. You call Sachin "a record chasing traitor" while you, the patriotic son of India, calls the rest of the country, "an underdeveloped nation of idol worshipping emotional fools". Nice!!

Are you out of your mind a man score century and team loses and then you blame him for all that. I am not a great fan of Sachin but still he deserves more than out respect. For records or not he loves his job how many here are committed like him to profession. He chases records because he can, can you? Jay Verma is right when he calls some one like you ingrates. Come on Guys, you speak he blocked the young generation lokk at the guys he played around Ganguly, Dravid, Sehwag and Laxman who made it with their own capabilities. Other who either lacked talent or passion or just hard work disappeared into oblivion still you blame this guy for all that. Ask some like Sachin not in his terms is asking someone like Steve Jobs to retire because he started to have grey hair (RIP SJ). But guys, truly speaking you will miss Sachin when he retires. Till then just enjoy and stop complaining.

Anybody who thinks that any player plays for his country, should consider one scenario. Will any of these glamor boys of cricket be ready to play 'for the country' if there in no money in it? Sorry to spoil your hero worship, but the fact is that these players, including Sachin, like all others are motivated by money. Therefore let us laud them for 'their' achivements but pleaaase do not be a fool to project them as somebody serving their country.

would like to correct your second sentence as well...this man plays for HIMSELF for 23 years...and there is no pride in selfish record-chasing ....only shame....if you have the btrains to think deeply about today's loss to bangladesh, you will realize that Tendulkar's innings today was CRIMINAL...it's a sin....289 on this flat pitch against bangladesh is no score at all....it should have been 330 at least

what were the rest doing then? Both kohli and Sachin did not find the ball coming upto the bat. Why did no one take on the slog role? this man never has played for records. The hype is generated by cricket lovers and media. All players play for the country and personal records automatically will happen if they are good.
