Can anyone one tell whether a "backyard" like Indore & Jaipur, be considered for playing Professional Cricket?
For commercial purposes, India has created a ground in every availbe "backyard" to promote sales & generate public interest.
There should be a professional [not "Commercial"], cricket lobby like WACA or so, & only "Grounds" which are duly fit for playing healthy International cricket, should be allowed.
During 1930s, that was exactly the case, it was for "Professionals" & so, was their "Pitches".
For that reason, Only Calcutta, Bombay, Madras & National capital, should be considered "fit" for playing "Professional" cricket, at "International" levels.
