Sachin,Rahul,VVS were legends of their time as were Gavaskar,Kapil during their time.It is unfair to compare who will fit in to whose shoes instead of that we must to look bulid the team with available options.Kohli,Pujara,Rohit will be the best middle order. We can even look to saha as back up.

You shameless guy will not stop dividing Indians on the basis of caste. One more thing. You mallus have no right to point fingers at Sikh community. There are more Sikh soldiers in the armed forces compared to mallus. By the way xtian rizebag converts are hatemongers pitting patriotic indians against each other.
such a waste of time. Kohli need temperament, my choice is pujara! Dinesh Karthik deserves chances too if Rohit/parthiv is given chances. he has ability to play short pitched balls.

pujara can't play short pitched stuff like rohit .pujara can be selected just bcoz he got a thread across his shoulders

Rohit also has that thread idiot. The moment you stop thinking so narrowly you will start growing up

Sachin, Dravid, Rohit, cheteshwar, Virat, Laxman, Gavaskar, Gambhir, Ganguly all have threads. Of the top class only Dhoni, Sehwag do not have threads...but does it matter
Temperamentally & technically Kohli is polls apart from Dravid. Rohit Sharma better fits the bill & doesn't translates into performance. Manish Pandey should be drafted into the team. Test cricket is going to see radical changes to make it more vibrant & appealing & these young blokes are needed for that. No Raina please.
Our funny media was comparing Kohli to Sachin last week or so. Now they start comparing him with Dravid. Maybe tomorrow they will start comparing with Dhoni :)
Dear Media, Please allow nature to take its course. Who knows, he may be better than Dravid/Sachin. He may not be consistent at a later stage (i dont wish that to happen).
I have nothing against Kohli, but please concentrate on other youngsters as well (Rohit/Rahane/etc). Dont hype a player too much.

Gentleman, how many chances has Rahane got in tests that he proves his worth?? With due respect, Raina doesnt seem to fit tests..... But he is superb when it comes to ODIs & T20s. He just has to get over this loss of form.

after closely watching rahane in t-20 , my master cricketing brain says that he is not for fit to play cricket itself. he can bea fit for baseball league in usa

For that instance, we havent found a good all-rounder who was as consistent as Kapil. Yuvraj is good, but nobody nowadays can maintain the fitness which Kapil used to.

Let him come to the international scene and make a mark. Most of us havent heard of him yet! But to be established in the team, he has to be a Dhoni/Srikant chela (looking at the present scenario).....

Ha ha :) It doesnt bother me as long as he is an Indian. I am no fan of Srikant :) I dont care about regionalism/religion as long as it is cricket :)
