Already team is having too many all rounders. What's the need of Ashwin here? Rather than Ashwin, it is better to for one of Dhawan or Rayudu or A Nair. If the team is looking for batsman, they can opt for Dhawan or Rayudu. If the team is still for an all roudner, A Nair is the best choice. He can swing the well and SA pitches are best suited for his type of bowling.

As long as Dhoni is the captain of India you will not see the team omitting Ashwin, Jadeja and Raina

Redyy first you omit Ashwin saying no need for an allrounder.Then you want Nair saying he is a better all rounder.India cannot tolerate even single player from TN.No wonder theere is demand Telengana.

Keep Ashwin only if matches are played in subcontinent pitches. he is unfit for bouncy pitches

he got just 1 chance in 3 years unlike other over rated players like jadeja and rohit sharma who keep playing continuous 8 matches..or parthiv who played continuous 15 odi...He never got continous chances and that too as opener.

his record is good in overseas conditions compared to other flat track bullies.
Note: 1. Dhoni already announced that he will retires from test in 2013 2. Sehwag not consistent enough to score runs (Esp. in Abroad) 3. Yuraj/Raina is not good for test cricket (Particularly short pitch delivery problem) 4. Zaheer,Sachin,Dravid,VVS-Everyone knows they are super stars,but we(India) need to see another set of such starts in future….so they can retire from the test arena at the end of 2012.
