WHAT?
by Mature Stud on Mar 06, 2012 08:41 AM  | Hide replies

Vengsarkar should know that there were two warm up games before the first test.

Also, No preparation before the Aussie tour is utter excuse. Sachin, Laxman and Dravid left to go to Australia a monthe prior to the first test, to thorougly climatize with the conditions and all three failed.

Too much with such Vengserkar type of experts..

here did he show that? He was dancing blindly against Windies pacers in West Indies.. And Pujara had surgery performed in SA and out of action for a while.

I guess it always helps to have some facts rather then blindly accusing and posting absurb stuff..:)

Manoj Tiwary

has become martyr because he was not selected to play in Australia. If he had been selected he would have been another Rohit Sharma by now. Lucky that he still commands support from fans on sympathy ground. He is no better than Raina and Rohit.

We was the top run getter in emerging players tournament held in Aus. He has scored runs in SA also in previous "A" tours. B4 u start vomiting regionalism, I am not from Bengal!

keeper should be able to bat unlike this bihari dhoni who thinks game is gulli danda... most teams have keeper has their best batsman. we need a class batsman like dravid as a keeper

having just a keeper who cannt bat is a huge waste as keeping is not hard.

"Venskar" Continue to "Fool" the "Public
by Rakesh nair on Mar 05, 2012 06:04 PM  | Hide replies

"Vensarkar" is paying "Tribute" to "Sachin" as the "Latter" has "Inaugrated" his "Cricket Academy".
When "Team" looses one "Argument" always takes place...Domestic Structure to be Revamped!!!
If "Rohit" was given opportunity in "Test" then his "Nonperformance" would have been an issue..
But all the "Nonperforming" Players who went ahead of "Schedule" to "Aus" like "Sachin","Dravid","Laxman".....in "Tests" should be made "accountable" to the "Loses" in "Eng" & "Aus".
"Sachin" went to "Eng" way ahead of "Schedule" to score "100" AT "Lords" after failing which he ran to "Hotel" becoz of "Disappointment".
"Time" has come to take "Action" & not blame "Domestic Structure"!!!
Only "Gavaskar" is making "Statements" of "Change" & all other "Cowards" are hiding behind "Excuses".

Under 20 years age!
by raghavadesikan on Mar 05, 2012 03:24 PM  | Hide replies

i think it would be difficult to see players lesser than 20 years of age in the international arena unlike Sachin, Pataudi etc. because of which records are very hard to break in future...am i right?

No. The problem with today's youngsters (i mean less than 20 yrs and not Rohit/Raina/Kohli:)) is that they dont have enough exposure on all types of pitches to last that long..... Everyone is a flat track bully.

believe there is a mass selection for bowlers in different parts of the country. It's a good idea and I hope we find at least a dozen quality fast and spin bowlers at the end of this exercise

Both Bhajji and Ashwin have not been used to take wickets but only bowl middle leg line and stop run flow - Main prob is spinners need some1 from other end to stifle run flow so that they can put pressure on batsman. Remember how Bhajji/Kumble pair worked? One was containing and other was taking wickets - but off late we see runs leaking from both ends. Dhoni's tactics like these will work only in sub continent and he is adamant enuf to accept his idea is wrong and hence the results 0-4 twice
