It was very clear that Australia has given up this match because they were too scared with Indian players to compete as they knew that indian players have got their form back.It will be very easy for them to defeat Srilanka. They may loose one match just like that to extend this series till last final.
Australians are famous for their cheap tricks to stay on top.If they play fair game than they will defeated by Indian very badly.
I felt so silly to read ur article even though these Srilankan were given right and left just few days back by indian players.Shame on you.

looks strong by looking at the names the team has in it....but the names don't matter, what matters is right focus and the confidence level, which srilanka had....kudos to them....itz really embarassing for india to call themself world champions....dey don't really deserve this title.

Unfortunately it is not the potential, but consistently performing puts you on the top.

Sri Lanka's bowling arsenal is a lot better than India's, especially their pacemen and spinners performed better against Australia than India. This explains Sri Lanka's success against Australia as compared to their performance against India. India on the other hand is handicapped by lacklustre performance of both pacers and spinners. Definitely India's bowling abilities were very limited and this explains the overall poor show by Indians recent tour of Australia.

Great victory .superb and also knowing that you guys were not getting paid . We have pampered our cricketers and made them millionaires in the process lost passion for the game .We go through the play or drama . You have put the last nail. We are very happy playing IPL. we do not want to play any more tests unless they promise before hand they will lose .

"Going in to the last game it's in our control, what we need to do. It's a good position for us to be, rather than depending on someone else to do some favours for us"

That 'someone' - Australia - did seem to favour Sri Lanka today, it seems.

Sour grapes? As per your logic Australia did a favor 3 times to Sri Lanka in this tournament v

As if we Indians don't need... Most of the indians must be praying hard for Srilankan defeat so that we can go into the final....Its the usual scenario for us..

So by your definition Sri Lanka had done a favour to India during World Cup? :)

it is always someone else who seems to spoil the indian soup. if not any one else then we can safely choose the toss as the culprit.

never deserved to be in finals. We won 2 matches CONVINCINGLY bcz of SRT,G Gambhir n V Kohli, 3rd victory ws given by australian bowler in which MSD tried his best to lose, MSD cudnt score 9 runs in last over against Lanka n a won match ended in a tie which has proved costly for the team, still some people call him MATCH FINISHER, who finishes winning match on losing side...

Not fixed
by Jang Bang on Mar 02, 2012 10:31 PM  | Hide replies

Last 2 matches could not have been fixed, as Australia had a better chance of defeating India in the finals than Sri Lanka, given the way India struggles against Australia in Australia.
