Sri Ravindra Jadeja is the most useful player of the Indian Team.................................to Dhoni (you know why) :).
Tendulkar, chasing his 100th international century for nearly a year now, must be keen to get the monkey off his back and what better opportunity than the flat pitches in Dhaka?
why there is so much of hue and cry over dropping of Sehwag. He should have been out of the team five years back. he is lucky that he has played cricket for these many years. He is the only player in the country who has taken the liberty of throwing his wicket innumerable times. yet he was kept given the chance to play. Look at his performance in the test series, yet shamelessly he kept saying there is no problem, nobdoy needs rest etc. etc. There have been many unfortunate players who have been consistently perfroming well, yet no chance is being given to them and theses senior players have made the Indian Cricket a property of their own. Shame shame...
Its high time Selectors shud immediately sack Dhoni. He is the root cause of this politics going on and poor performance of this team. Using his money, backup and PR firms enggaged by him to save himself. His performance as a skipper,Keeper and batsman is lack luster above that have a big ego and attitude problem due to which many players have suffered so far evidence of which are Pathan brothers,Munaf,Shewag,Gambhir,Pujara,Rahul and Rohit Sharma etc. Whereas IShant,RPsingh,Raina,Dinda all are promoted by him even after poor performances. They shud tell him to perform as a batsman and wicket keeper and take charge of captaincy from him and handit over to 20-20 Kohli,50-50 Gambhir and Test to Shewag or Ashwin.
Everywhere people are talking about team combination and dropping Sachin etc. But does dropping Sachin solve the problem of not performing outside Subcontinent? Had it been so simple, it could have been done earlier. The root problem is not the player, but attitude and management of the people who is running this game behind the scene along with the players. In spite of the richest board in the world, have BCCI really done something to take the game to the greater heights except earning huge amount of money? Are the local grounds, training, equipments mitigate or match up to the standard of the international grounds to uplift the quality of cricket as it happen in Aus, SA, NZ or Eng? Have we done anything to promote the game for which our whole nation is crazy for? Where is the ambience to nurture and uplift the existing talent we have? Every first bowler in India has to decrease the pace after a period of 1 year or so! The problem is the management and the administration. If you only run after money and don’t work towards solving the problems and improving the overall standards, after 20 yrs also the level of cricket will remain the same. Only a bunch of “Stars” will be born. Couple of years back it was Sachin, today its Virat and Dhoni, tomorrow somebody else.
