Well, for that matter, Australia as a nation did not exist a few centuries ago. The only thing that is constant is change. Not that I agree with BCCI stance, but they are definitely not someone you can give a tight slap in todays power equation.
If England beat Australia 5-0 in the upcoming 5 match Odi series Eng will be No.1 in world cricket in all 3 formats. But Aus losing to eng 5-0 is next to impossible !
Dave Richardson, mostly a good guy coupled with a good cricketing and non-controversial history and also having been backed by BCCI into getting that CEO post, wouldn't go against BCCI.
