These flat wicket creations are nothing but jelly beans on wickets that helps bowlers. We are short of quality players & most of the youngsters are hyped by media thanks to the new baseball cricket called T20 where a mishit goes for 4 or 6 which is otherwise a wicket for bowler in ODI & 5 days.

We have the finest tournament in the world. Performance in IPL matters.
We hope the seniors follow the 'A' team and start the home series losing against NZ.

Bullies. Someone was suggesting Rahane and Shikhar Dawan as opening batsmen for India after watching their slogging in IPL.

IPL will only spoil whatever little talent left in India. It will create paper tigers who will face realities in "away" test matches. Shame on selectors and corrupt personalities such as Pawar, N. Srinivasan et.al.

Good grooming on dead Indian pitches and ipl tamasha this is what you get when you sent India abroad on sporting pitches ,no matter you send India a b or c they still look all puzzled.

There is no difference between "test" team and "A" team. This sort of "nurturing talent" is going on for several years and unless people of India stop patronizing these corrupt officials who so called "Adminsitrators" of cricket in India, this sports will "DIE" soon.

Trailing the home team?
by Ashok Kumar on Jun 19, 2012 04:14 PM  | Hide replies

If WI has scored 106 runs more and India is 181/7 in the 2nd innings, how can India be trailing? It should read as India has a slender overall lead of 75. Where are your copyrighters and proof readers, rediff?

"still trailing the home team by 75 runs" which simply means windies are leading by 75 runs..it is totally wrong..India A is leading by 75 runs..(hope 7 & 8 will score tons)

What does the word 'still' signify? I t means the same thing as thought INdia trail by 75 runs which is totally wrong. It should be read as 'lead'by 75 runs

Rediff just forgot to put a negative sign, which is not so surprising for the rediff :)

Keeping up the tradition of losing over seas.First match we thought -yeh ! there is a change - but all the same good .Do not insult Dhoni and company by winning .Do not worry next IPL will be bigger and richer almost three months affair.
