India is democratic country. As per the rules those who don't know the ABC of the subject well, they can even comment as if they are invovled in that particular field from the past twenty years.
opening in ODIs ..only 2 fielder..2 down in test where the ball will get 20-30 overs old..also he never scored triple century in his career which shows by the time next new ball arrives he will get out.. any other player who would have batted in that position wud have got those many runs..thats the reason he doesn't want to give that position to anyone..

ROFL... I can't believe to what extent people can think. Please apply for any position in Indian cricket for your great analysis. Even Sachin might not have thought someone analyses to this extent.

despite all his achievements, sachin has idi0ts like you still trying to analyse his basic game. hahaha
And many f00ls here want him to retire even from test cricket. This shows that many Indians don't know cricket in detail and only go for superficial attractions in the game like gayle hitting sixes in IPL or some jakati guy taking lottery wickets.

sachin was in top5 in 2010..so? it keeps changing. one good season from sachin will bring him into top 5 again. but point is despite his lack of form last season, he is still the top indian test batsman in the rankings. what does it say about other batsmen?
For the first time I went to sports home page in rediff , the web site is totally ignorant about sports - home page there is nothing other than Cricket - so atleast be decent o call it cricket home page and Cricket instad of sport in this century how can they be so ignorant.If you go by followers also crikcet is not the largest followed sport.
How can chandrapaul is no. 1 batsman in ICC ranking since he is not a G O D…ICC must be leaking chandu’s a-s-s…that’s y he stayed longer time on top spot…..i don’t agree this system…sachin shud be at number one..make such a system that tendulkar shud remain number one spot forever…. past 23 year how many times sachchu claim top spot..3-4 times..that also for shorter period. Cooper & lebrand system was more worse than this where Lara occupies top slot for no of times. Guy wake up and ban this ranking system.

No system please let us have voting - BCCI with money can buy votes like our lelctions so we can decide .The government for last 0 odd years has tried to see no system works as it will stop loot and corruption.
Person who batted through out his carrier at his favourite position. Opener in ODIs on dead pitches of subcontinent and No. 4 in tests. His only achievement is that he played for so long. A big selfish person
