India's future
by Vikas Banga on Jun 11, 2012 03:01 PM  | Hide replies

while the batting looks satisfactory with Kohli, Pujara and Rahane, Bowling looks awful with no quality pace bowler. Only Umesh yadav is doing alright. REst are just awful with Ishant, Aaron etc. Mostly remain injured. May be new guy Awana can be tried.
I am only talking about test cricket

the first ball he faced in Tests he struck a delightful 4 of Mitchell Johnson but of the 3rd ball he was plumb lbw to a beauty of a delivery from the same bowler .
the 2nd inn of the same game he made 72 in a match winning effort.
hopefully he will get more chances than Raina yuvraj etc got

Why have you put a / on Sachin Tendulkar? Sachin Tendulkar is much needed in Tests. Pujara if selected should bat at No.3 and Kohli/Rohit Sharma at No.6.

Hopefully will as he is the best in terms of technique and temperament among the ones waiting .
But do not know whether his injuries and some politics in selection will downplay his chances.
People like Raina have the captain's backing all the time

You are right. But my combination according to the former and latter is like this;

Sachin-Rohit-Immensely Talented
Dravid-Rahane-Patience and elegant
Laxman-Pujara-Stylish
Sehwag-Kohli-Hardhitting skils.

Even Murali VIjay scored a century in that test match. Where is he now? It is alright to think of future but you cannot hurry these batsmen into tests in place of legends.

FUTURE OF INDIAN CRICTET IS DULL
by Pratik shah on Jun 11, 2012 02:03 PM  | Hide replies

This manoj supari, rohit darna, Abhimanyu(not the son of Arjun) Mukund, shikandi dhawan, this guy are not good for internatinal level, they can only play in domestic T-20 tournaments, that also occassinaly, not consistent.

Future of Indian cricket is dull. I AM SORRY.
