Dhoni

No matter how well these A team players perform, Dhoni is not going to give them opportunity to play in final eleven. Dhoni was playing same losing eleven in both England and Australia during test series.

thats a good news for test side after dravid's retirement. he is the only one fit for place in test side with all his consistency n temperament.
n also good to see saha perform well with the bat.

pujara had his chances in south Africa in 2010. ajinkya rahane is most deserving player for test spot.

Atleast some good news for these guys
by Incredible India on Jun 04, 2012 02:41 PM  | Hide replies

as they got something to play for even though its for A team.
Otherwise we saw how Manoj Tiwari was made to sit for two series overseas even after hitting a century in his last venture. And His Highness Sir Ravindraji Jadejaji was honoured even after repetative failure. May be yellow jersey in IPL is required to be Indianised in international cricket.

how dare you talk about sir Ravindraji Jadejaji. India is blessed to have him. Even Bharat Ratna wont do justice to his calibre and services offered. Please, His highness Sir jadejaji deserves some respect.

There are many good cricketers in east zone who will surely reign India senior team, if Sachin and Dhoni permit.

Rahane, Dhawan were all in good touch in IPL and scored lot of runs. when it comes to long format of the game and outside India everyone failed.

Its just first inning, they may do well in remaining. So, lets wait and hope they will perform.

Aranala, FYI Rahane played much much better cricket than Sehwag/Sachin post WC. He will do much better in the days to come, provided Dhoni gives him an opportunity.

Venu-ji, i hope your words come true for both Rahane & Manoj Tiwary.

But giving chance to these guys for 1-2 matches and giving chances to Rohit Sharma/Jadeja for 10-15 matches is not right..... Dont u think so?

Exactly Shikari I support you regarding this. For this reason only Dhoni should be sacked.

Ankur, I frankly feel Dhoni should step down from the test captaincy atleast. Even Sehwag can lead India to victory on sub-continental pitches where Dhoni's captaincy is doing well. But when it comes to overseas, I am disappointed....!

you are abs. right...rohit can be persisted with, but jadeja should be given rest..he is not showing any 'spectacular skills' either in ODI or IPL..make room for talented ones..

Ya, I too feel so. Jadeja has been given too much of liberty these days.

Rohit has done well, but in patches. Apart from a few good knocks against West Indies, I dont remember his good innings in recent days.

Venu-ji, the question is not about superiority. When "Small brother" calls Rohit Sharma a "castor oil faced chap", its ok. But when I call Vijay/Badrinath as Madrassi, it becomes attitude problem??

Hey why do telegu's have this attitude of calling blue sky blue. So what if he is from AP, Sehwag, gambhir and Kohli are from Delhi, Sardar and Yuvi are from Punjab, Dhoni is from Bihar. If all start saying this then where is India
