Well said Bannerjee, it is time that his youngistan strategy is really implemented rather than being discussed :)

The batsmen who perform splendidly against CSK in a single match later on fizzle out quickly let alone finding a place in India, they vanish from the IPL itself. Examples are Manish Sharma, Paul Valathaty. Hope Bisla doesnt join these gentlemen

Bisla has played much better and more consistently than Valthaty over the years in IPL. His final knock was a turning point. Hope it helps his career, for that MSD needs to be given a break from T20s(he is anyway a slow starter in T20s and a waste in the middle order) and Bisla taken as wk batsman.

gimme a break guys.

One match wonders dont replace players with 200 ODIs and captains winning the world cup at a time when the captain/player themselves play well.

Note I am a diehard Sachin fan but still would defend Dhoni here. Bisla may be consistent but so are a 100 players in Ranji trophy who fail when playing Intl cricket.

what did dhoni do for rest of the world cup? what has he done in tests? he is surviving because of sachin, laxman and dravid in test cricket who do all hard work. its time to sack him as captain for losing 8 tests abroad on a trot.

Bisla has a style almost same as Dhoni except he is more agressive than Dhoni. Why not select him for T20 world cup even if as a batsman only. That will give him a chance.

If i was selector, i will make Gambhir captain of T20 team, make Bisla the wk and give Dhoni rest.

exactly, we know many players in the past played for their clubs have been brilliant, but when it comes to international level, they fizzle. He was lucky on that day. KKR also know this is the only time they have taken the IPL cup, next year we will see where they stand...hahaha
