First of all, he should learn to play the moving ball, particularly the one pitches in middle and off and swings away.He played those kind of balls towards on side and caught at the slips n-number of times in Australia tour. That was a pathetic and awkward way for an opening batsman to get out.Don`t think that your place will be permanent after being made a captain.
even MUNAF PATEL..dhoni serves no purpose in the team...he is completely useless and is only a HYPE...a complete non-performer who FREE-RIDES on other player's performances and takes all credit for himself with help from a self-serving media..he is totally hopeless...as batsman, as keeper and as captain...Gambhir is way better,,,but any1 can replace Dhoni and do a better job....even Munaf Patel
Gambhir has shown his immaturity in talking about captaincy when Dhoni is the Captain. In T20,any team can win in the last over or last ball.Would Gambhir have talked like this if Dhoni's Chennai team had won?He should simply enjoy the moment and KKR's victory.Dhoni for all his shortcoming as a Test player is still a good captain. He cannot be alone blamed for all the losses in Tests. The entire team failed in bouncy pitches in England and Australia.Gambhir needs to grow up.Maybe his time will come.Let him not be in a hurry and make spoil his image.

When India losses u tell Dhoni alone cannot be blamed, but when India wins u always give credit to Dhoni(Useless).Gambhir is far better than Dhoni in all aspects.Gambhir is right "A good team makes a Succesful captain".
The changed reality is that after the IPL win GG seems to be seriously staking his claim for Test captaincy. Until before the IPL and during the Aus tour etc. he was going through a lean patch and lost the VC to Virat Kohli. Obviously that hurt and made him work hard to give one of his focused performances ever as captain in the IPL. To that extent GG certainly deserves all credit and now it will depend how Dhoni and the selectors take it. Dhoni has certainly hinted at somewhat an overall lowering of his interest in the longer format of the game and has also not been batting all that well in Test matches of late. Even a slightest of disinclination on the part of Dhoni to play or lead the Tests should make GG an automatic choice. Indian Test squad is at cross-roads and at the lowest point now. Other than Sachin there are no other greats and even Sachin might call it a day in a yr’s time. Given this background the Indian Test squad will have to be rebuild from scratch and will be an uphill task. Dhoni certainly looks tired for this rejuvenation job and a new incumbant in the form of a resurgent GG might certainly looks a better option.
