usually scores 30- 40 runs when other batsmen set a gud platform. smone commented here that he is the saviour whn scored 35 runs in last match bt that fellow forgot that veeru kohli did it for team. whn team ws struggling today at 40/4 n no oder specialist batsmen was there dhoni shud hv batted sensibly like gambhir, bt he didnt. this so called saviour never plays whn team is in trouble. its easy to score whn oders hv already dn smthing for team, n people call him a saviour n match winner.

sonu, naturally if other batsmen has set a gud plaform dhoni will not be able to score a very big score and there will be usually 30-40- against his name....
only if he comes to bat at a earlier stage or when many overs are left that he will score 100s or 50s...
and of course that is true for everybody else too..

if others have given a big platform like 2 centuries or near centuries naturally not many overs will be left by the time he comes to crease if india is batting first or many runs left to chase if india is batting second...

of course whenever dhoni has scored centuries or hit 70s or 80s he has got the chance to bat up the order either because he has promoted himself or because early wickets have fallen. in both cases with plenty of overs left he gets a chance to score big
