Cook made 20 hundreds in lesser tests and lesser yrs in intl cricket than sachin. But for strokeplay anyone would take sachin over Cook. cook can break a lot of records

In fact Cook likely to be captain in 2 yrs time. In odi him being captain has only enhanced his role as he scored @ good SR and 5 odi hundreds in one yr. Captaincy in tests will only be doing him good in tests as well

Where does weakness comes from? Bat till 7. or are u making excuses for Sa losing or Eng winning ?

G.Smith has lost his peak. A.Peterson, J.Rudolph and JP Duminy are ordinary test batsman. So actually SA relies on Amla, Kallis and DeVilliars. How can you say it's a strong batting line up!!!

not strong but the best they have now. Anyway i do not care for SA , only thing I wish is England win the series
England are the champs of Test cricket at home & they know how to exploit their home conditions. The unbeatable Teams at home at present are 3 Teams, England, India & South Africa. The India-England Test series would be One heck of a Test series but ofcourse England would be whitewashed (or nearly whitewashed) by the Flat Track bullies India who are another un-beatabel side at home..

Eng would not be whitewashed in india . Ind likely to win first 2 matches and eng winning one of the 2 remaining .
becos look at the scoring rate of 100s of guys like cook, hayden etc:- they score in short span of time, so by law of avg they are better than sachin ha ha

ENG & AUS play more test matches in a calendar year than India.BCCI concentrates more on playing ODIs & T20s as they give more revenue to the board than Tests.So, short span is not the criteria ,look at the averages of this players and their consistency.Just because off late ,Sachin's form is on a decline all the daggers are out to prove that he is not a great,which is unfortunate as ppl forget the contribution made by him over the years and simply try to pull him down.
