From which state BCCI has taken more number of cricketers than Mumbai is the right question...talent is everywhere due to some politics most representation has come from Mumbai...stating this I am not degrading Mumbai cricketers...but informing you its not the ultimate and better not to put these kind of comments which will trigger unneccesary regional feelings..

Mumbai always produces batsmen. EVven their ranji team's main strength is their batting. They put huge scores on the board most times and then progress due to first innnings lead or the opposition gets out becoz of score board pressure. When their batsmen fail, invariably the team also fails, bcoz they dont have good bowlers to defend small scores.For a matter of fact, the indian team is also on the same plane. Both rely too much on their batsmen. But without good quality wicket taking pace bowlers, we wont be able to win test matches abroad. Be it from mumbai or somewhere else, what our national team want now is wicket taking bowlers
