This is really absurd. They are picking ppl and giving out dole. If he has played, he shud get it, who are these guys to decide, whom to give and not to give. More over as |MORE| is marathi mulga, he was given amnesty(I hate this word, this word reeks of surrendering in front of BCCI).
This Marathi domination was from the beginning of Cricket in India and these guys pawars, gawar kars, shastri's are continuing the tradition.
Most people will be ready to change even their religion for this huge money. I think Kapil who stands to gain more than Crore of rupees can efford to keep his head up and chest expanded by refusing the amnesty by BCCI. But ZEE Boss must compensate Kapil Dev double the money he is going to loose just for the sake of his own reputation to show person like Rajiv Shukla their place.

well.. kapil is kind of well off in his shipping business.. but most retd cricketers dont have any other substantial means of income.. 60 lakhs is a huge amt of money

So what Mr Arun, he has earnt his money,why shud he leave it. Tendulkar even after earning so much, he's still playing, coz for the love of the money itself, not for the pride and all that BS.

First point Kapil has won WC instead it was all players. Second More was given Amnesty because he has given written statement for that but Kapil has not given.
This entire drama involving BCCI and some cricketers reminds me of bonded labor / slavery. One needs to remain loyal to his owner through out his life so that he could have the privilege of making his son also work for the same owner.
quite unfortunate the way bcci behaves.. more's or kapil's services to indian cricket were far above the icl-ipl clash. how many bcci bosses ever held a bat
