Dhoni shoud quit
by srterhdfhsdfgsf erretgfgd on Jul 15, 2012 06:28 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni needs to quit test cricket. He doesnt bowl, he is the only wicket keeper in the world who doesnt leap behind the wickets thus makes the slips stand close to him, he generally makes zero and sometimes when he does make runs is when the opposition loosens the grip on the match because he is the last "recognized" batsman who comes out to bat and then he starts hitting all around thus making some runs, and he shows as if he doesnt have any more batting partners left because he comes so late into the innings. Why doesnt MS Dhoni opens up the innings. He is always the worst performer in a test match. It was Anil Kumble who did all the hard work to help India rise up. And what are all of you talking about to retire Sachin. We have not been able to find a replacement of Ganguly in test matches. Who Raina, Rohit??

Worst bowling attack in the world!
by Dire Straits on Jul 15, 2012 06:23 PM

No matter how good India's batting is, a Test match is won by taking 20 opposition wickets (in most cases). How many good/great bowlers does India have? Is a joke that Zaheer with an average of 33 is considered a good bowler by us.

AGED SACHIN SIGNIFIES STAGNATION FOR INDIAN TEST SIDE
by damodaran mohan on Jul 15, 2012 05:41 PM

The future of Indian TEST cricket doesn't look promising at all the way BCCI keeps dodging the issue not coming up with specific long term plan. A daily today has brought out Srinivasan's interview where all that he says is that he has faith in the Indian side but there is no hint of any forward movement whatsoever ! Neither he expressed any regrets not comes up with suitable explanation for the two humiliating series losses where all the stalwarts including the greatest Sachin Tendulkar proved a super flop not being able to save even a single TEST!. Even Pakistan have gone above India in TEST ranking and this man keeps saying India can get back to No.1 position under Dhoni ! But how while the Captain himself has hinted at retiring by 2013? Srinivasan's answers in generalities are far from convincing and it is obvious BCCI is getting away due to its financial clout not doing much to reverse the TEST slide. Why no perspective plan for building a new TEST side that will attain no.1 position ? How does BCCI plan to neutralize the stagnating influence of an aging Sachin on India cricket to rejuvenate it and give it new direction? The prospective middle order batters are in a permanent state of limbo and uncertainities. Even the one day side is not able to shape up purposefully for 2015 WC due to Sachin’s ‘pick &chose ‘ policy !.Isn’t it time for BCCI to stop mollycoddling Sachin at the cost of Indian cricket ?

Patience is the key to success......
The series ahead is either flat track or at home. It is not difficult for our team to move a couple of spots above.

Your name should have been "illogical" instead of "truth". Do you know the difference between average of a batsman and test victory?
