Unfortunate.

Brett Lee is undoubtedly one of the best but he was forced to retire earlier than planned due to his injury. Comparing his situation with Tendulkar's is foolishness.
It is unfortunate to see people criticizing a legend who has dedicated years in this field. Other nations would die for him to be in their team. Only in India, we bark after the greats like mad dogs and then shed crocodile tears when they retire. India doesn't deserve legends because Indians don't know how to value talent. We're too jealous of people's success instead of thinking of it as India's pride.

Brett declined the central contract from Cricket Australia 2 months back , he said someone is else really deserves his place and it would be bad if he accepts it considering he does not play all forms of cricket for Aus

Cricketing sense needs to prevail

Bret Lee had long sustained injury & hence he quit. Sachin is not injured & he has kept himself fit although by playing selective matches. Also we need to understand that he has not forced any better player to sit outside because of him & that too with bad performance. He has been consistently one of top 2-3 batsmen in last 5 years still for Indian team.Lets be practical & not emotional.Sachins place to be earned by the player by playing better than Sachin only.
