ICC should make it mandatory for keepers, standing close to the wickets, to wear helmet to avoid such incidences.

get well soon mark....

Get well soon Boucher, knowing the fighter he has been, he will do well to come out the injury but as he is aging cricket SA will look at AB or a younger WK. Whatever it is, Boucher is amazing. Imagine keeping wickets against swing bowlers like Shaun Pollack, F de Villiers and pace bowlers like Allan Donald, M Ntini, Dale Steyn and The Morkel's, he is handy with bat too. If he stops playing, he will be missed. I guess he is last geniune WK who can bat in all 3 formats of the game and not the other way round.

Great Record
by kuldip nair on Jul 10, 2012 06:08 PM

His record number of catches & stumping are never talked about like Tendulkar or Murali or Warne. Would like to mention, how humble this person is. Once his batting kit got stolen from dressing room. While going back to hotel in team bus, he saw someone with his kit. He jumps from the window bus, chases the man & catches him & takes back his kit & return to the hotel as if nothing has happened.
Hope he recovers fully

Boucher

He has since retired from cricket like our saba kareem. He was solid behind stumps and rescued his team on many occasions. Both SA and cricketing world will miss him
